Redondo Beach Pier This pier is an interesting design, it's not like most that jet straight out. This one loops around and reconnects to the beach. It use to be larger but fires once burned it down and it has since been rebuilt. Read more about the Redondo Beach Pier at AlikGriffin.com
Pasadena City Hall I randomly drove by this location once in Pasadena completely unaware that it existed. Luckily I had my camera gear with me that night. See more of my HDR Photography on my blog.
Downtown San Diego This shot of Downtown San Diego was taken while on Coronado Island. San Diego is a very clean a beautiful city but being from Los Angeles it just feels so quiet. I actually lived in San Diego county for about eight years and always sort of took downtown for granted. Now that I take photography more serious I'd like to spend a lot more time there with my camera. There is so much to see and shoot and the city has such a great skyline. Victoria Beach Tower The tower is a concrete reinforced spiral stairway leading from the top of the cliff to the beach. This kind of landscape photography required a bit of patience and a lot of luck. You never really know what you're going to get when shooting at the ocean. That's why I love ocean photography. Malibu Pier The clear water and skies mixed with the soft sand create a very calm almost pastel looking image. The HDR effect really bought all the colors to life to make this image serene. This is one of my personal favorites. Read more about this Photo at AlikGriffin.com
The Walt Disney Concert Hall This is probably the coolest building in Los Angeles. It was designed by the famous architect Frank Gehry in 1991 and construction began in 1999. I went out to shoot this location in HDR. I was really hoping it would rain to get nice slick reflections on the ground but the opposite happened. Santa Monica Pier A popular photo spot, I wanted to take a photo of this location that I've never seen before. This is a long exposure HDR. As the tide pulls back the wet sand casts a very nice reflection of the lights from the amusement park. Read more about this HDR Photo of the Santa Monica Pier.
