This is a pretty epic location in Southern Japan. And it's not that old surprisingly. For this photo I used an HDR processing technique mixed with texture blending to give it a gritty aged look.

The Walt Disney Concert Hall This is probably the coolest building in Los Angeles. It was designed by the famous architect Frank Gehry in 1991 and construction began in 1999. I went out to shoot this location in HDR. I was really hoping it would rain to get nice slick reflections on the ground but the opposite happened. Into the Rain at Shanghai A rainy night in Shanghai looking up a building. There seemed to be a wind vortex in this spot that was blowing the rain away. I was able to point up into the sky without any rain landing on my lens.

Santa Monica Pier A popular photo spot, I wanted to take a photo of this location that I've never seen before. This is a long exposure HDR. Rice Huts of Bali. This is an HDR photo of some huts out in the middle of some rice fields in Bali. It's pretty interesting how it's all set up. There are the flags hanging some with cans attached so the farmers can pull on some rope connecting them all together causing the cans to clank, which scares all the birds away. There was a lot of growing pains while delving into the world of HDR. I went from super hit and miss/terrible, to finally having my own style. I got lucky with this one. Golden Mudstones of Zabriskie Point

At Zabriskie Point in the Badlands of Death Valley are these eroded mudstones. It's very strange even walking on them, it feels almost like it's hollow or that it's very light. I imagine if it got more rain here these mudstone hills would just disintegrate.
